Grafitte was rescued by my parents in 2011. He was found on the street and looked like he had been hit by a car, so my father took him to a nearby vet clinic and fell in love with him. Rescued dogs are the most grateful beings that your can find! And Grafitte is now one of the (six) very spoiled dogs that my parents have. We adopted Jack in January 2017 from a dear friend who, unfortunately, had to give him up after she’d been made redundant. She had to move to Auckland to find another job. Since Jack was already 9 years old and on meds, Blair and I didn’t think he’d stand much of a chance of getting adopted if he were taken to SPCA or Second Chance. So, we offered to keep him.
